Learning unit contents

Improvement of knowledge on cognitive and emotional development of children.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Developing of clinical reasoning through a multidimensional and integrated approach: the student will cross the psychological data of the child with other fields (nutrition, sleep, socio-cultural context, screen, school, serious illness, motor skills, sensoriality, medication).

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Course in child developmental psychology and clinical psychology (PSYCH0027), specifically the parts dealing with child development.
 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Working in sub-groups with research of scientific articles. Discussion on research during lessons. Analysis of clinical vignettes.
