Learning unit contents
Theoretical part (30h) :
Principles of the neuropsychological assessment in adults: anamnesis, cognitive assessment, psychometric aspects, report writing - Assessment methods for memory deficits, agnosia, executive functions, attentional functions (including neglect) - Contribution of the brain imagery methods - Neuropsychological assessment in a medico-legal setting
Practical work (15h) :
Exercises on assessment techniques and test correction and interpretation.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Knowing the principles of a neuropsychological assessment in adults. Knowing the main methods and assessment tools of the cognitive deficits in brain-damaged patients.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Basic training in clinical neuropsychology, neurophysiology, cognitive neuropsychology and cognitive psychology.
This class is not open to Erasmus students.

The theoretical lessons will be given in a "grouped" way, at the rate of two sessions of 4 hours each a week (on Monday morning and Wednesdays morning), before the practical exercises.
