Learning unit contents
During each teaching internship, students will design and implement a sequence of learning knowledge and skills in the field of communication, media education and the didactics of the performing arts.
Students are required to design detailed preparations in accordance with the expectations set out in the discipline's didactics course (see Vade Mecum, course contents).
Out-of-class school practices will familiarize students with school outings, pedagogical coordination, etc.
Teaching placements
cf. parent course
Reflective practice
cf. parent course.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to
- mobilize methods of observation and analysis of teaching practices in class and out of class;
- to design and animate pedagogical sequences aimed at the acquisition of skills and learning objectives developed according to the FWB curricula, which meet the criteria explained in the evaluation grids of the Vade Mecum.
Extra-scholar teaching activities
At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to understand how a "classroom" teaching practice can be nourished by extra-curricular teaching activities (cultural outings, etc. cf. Vade Mecum).
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Mastery of the French language.
Pre-required: AESS00335
Co-required: AESS00336.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching practices in school sites.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Code yellow and orange: face-to-face in accordance with the rules of the hosting place and the possibilities related to the evolution of the sanitary context. If required or justified, part of the hours may be completed by distance learning with the teacher's agreement. In case of major force due to the sanitary context, it will be possible to value and evaluate the preparations made but not dispensed, which will be presented in the placement report.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Internships may be carried out according to the teaching methods in use in the host institution (synchronous/asynchronous distance learning, hybrid classroom/distance learning). Adjustments to the provisional program (duration, schedule and report delivery deadlines, etc.) as provided in the Vade Mecum are allowed subject to the approval of the responsible tutors.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Each teaching internship will be evaluated on a triple basis: (i) the assessment of the tutor; (ii) the assessment of the specialised didacticians and (iii) the internship report provided by the student. The precise modalities of the evaluation are provided in Vade Mecum.
Extra-scholar teaching activities
Report of extra-curricular school practices (cf. Vade Mecum)
Work placement(s)
yes (cf. Vade Mecum)
