Learning unit contents

Specific preparation for future Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine residents during their last three years.
This teaching is organised through three universities during à two year cycle : ULiège, UCL, ULB.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The aim of this course is to prepare the examination of the European Board of PRM in the 5th year of the complementary master in PRM.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

It is mandatory to pass the exam of 2nd year of complementary master of PRM.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Courses in "inverted classroom" given by the assistants and supervised by experts.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Course in face with preparation of the student at home.

Recommended or required readings

"Braddom's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation" is the book of reference.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Examination of the European PRM Board to be passed at the beginning of the fifth year of specialization (November).  
Thesis to be defended at the end of the fifth year of specialization (June).

Organizational remarks

Courses (exam and the defense of the thesis) are given in the 3 French-speaking universities alternately.
