Learning unit contents

Phenomenology seminar

One-week workshop preceded by a series of introductory lectures to be held during the first term. The lectures are held by various speakers. They aim at creating the conditions required for the participants to engage into personal, fruitful reflections on the topic under examination. The workshop takes place in April. Participants are PhD students, researchers, and professors from the Creph research center and from several foreign research centers.
Theme 2020-2021: Amodal perception, intersensoriality, synesthesia.

Phenomenological analysis

The course provides an introduction to the topic of the phenomenology seminar. Most of the lectures are made by invited speakers that are specialized in the topic.

Main purpose:

  • to encourage participants to develop their personal research capacities in the field of phenomenology
The seminar aims at gathering researchers and students of the "Phenomenology" orientation in a one-week workshop.

Face-to-face is the default teaching mode, but some talks may be made on-line depending on the sanitary situation.

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

The evaluation will be based on the oral presentation of the personal work submitted in January for the class "Analyse phénoménologique" [Info: http://www.pheno.ulg.ac.be/fr/perso.php?lang=fr&id=seron&content=ap2020-2021].
Oral presentations will take place on April 1, 2021. Due to the health situation, they will be on line.

Students will be evaluated on the basis of a written work to be submitted in January.
