The course dedicates one chapter for each of the following learning/teaching paradigms:
1. Observation/Modelling
2. Reception/Transmission
3. Practice/Coaching
4. Exploration/Documentation
5. Experimentation/Reactivity
6. Creation/Confortation
7. Metacognition

They are linked to learning theories (social learning, behaviorism, associationism, constructivism, cognitivism, instumentalism, connectivism...).
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- Analyse learning activities referring to different learning/teaching events.
- Make links between the learning/teaching paradigms and learning theories.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The teaching methods of the course will be varied:
- introductory session (explanation of the "hybrid" methods of the course, exercise in session )
- presentations (in session or online) with interaction (in session or via online voting tools)
- questions and answers throught forums
- problem solving activities
- "flipped classroom": Reading Questions Answer Test method
- CAMEL method (individual reading, cooperation...)
- training to exams modalities : multiple choice questions including large choice questions and confidence degree use
- method of the PARM (Reciprocal Multimedia Animation Projects): the students, in groups of 3 or 4 and with the support of the supervisors, develop a project on a theme of the course that they will present in plenary session. The teacher will complete the theory on the basis of the students' presentations.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
The course will take place mainly in face-to-face. Nevertheless, some sessions will be devoted to small group meetings with the coaches to set up the students' projects.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
June session :
- In-person
written exam ( multiple-choice questionnaire )
- Remote
written exam ( multiple-choice questionnaire )
- If evaluation in "hybrid"
preferred in-person
August-september session :
- In-person
written exam
- Remote
oral exam
- If evaluation in "hybrid"
preferred in-person
Additional information:
The evaluation is based on :
- the evaluation (based on criteria) of the production and animation of the "PARM" on the theme chosen and validated by the professor (60%)
- an individual written examination (book closed) (40%)
Changes due to the health situation
The rules taken by the authorities will not allow the implementation of reciprocal activities managed by students this year. As a result, the evaluation is now based on :
- The evaluation (based on criteria) of the production of a "PARM", by group, on the theme chosen and validated by the professor (50%). The students will have to write a document specifying the animation activity planned and the links between the theoretical concepts and the animation.
- The realization, by group, of a case analysis exercise on teaching/learning paradigms (10%).
- An individual written examination (book closed) (40%)
If the second session examination is to be conducted remotely, the production of a PARM and the closed-book individual written examination will be replaced by an oral examination.
