The student will be able to:
- Distinguish the specific components of health care and nursing care with respect to legislation.
- Compare the ways in which care is organised in and out of hospital: advantages and disadvantages.
- Identify the components of the management of the care unit by the head nurse in her role as manager.
- To consider current trends in improving the safety and quality of patient care.

A written report summarizing an article of the student's choice is also planned. The work can be individual ou collective, it will be taken into account for 25% of the final score. The work will be submitted on e-campus. Reading articles are available for each of the chapers.
