Learning unit contents

The objective of the internship in a nursing home is to work jointly with the director to better understand the content of his or her position and to illustrate in practice the financing of the nursing home (daily flat rate - end-of-career development and third part).

The student must also illustrate another chapter of the course relating to relations between the director of the nursing home and the partners by developing a specific theme: medication, relations with the AViQ, FASFC, work organization, life project, etc.

The seminars are organised in thematic didactic visits. The interest is to allow students to study different aspects of a rest home in the field by meeting the relevant actors.
These internships and seminars are mandatory as part of the recognition of the training for the AViQ to obtain the title of nursing home director.
