Introduce to Public Health research approach
Prepare the Public Health Research Work
Acquire editorial and methodological bases necessary to begin the end of study work
Specific objectives
Learn to define an argued research question
Learn to organize the exploratory phase necessary for research work
Learn to explain his research problem
Learn how to write scientifically
Learn to ask methodological choices detailed and consistent with the research question (inductive/deductive, quantitative/qualitative)
Learn to build an investigation plan:
- know the principal sample selection methods
- be able to choose from a variety of data collection techniques
- know the importance of a planning meeting the criteria of feasibility and regulations.
Knowing the quality criteria of processing and analyzing data.
Knowing the major ethical principles and be able to perform methodological choices respecting the ethical issues

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Additional information:
The assessment is divided as follows:
- 10% : continuous assessment carry out with 4 quizzes accessibles on eCampus.
- 90% : written exam in presence or distance considering health situation.
