Three view projections. Reading of Technical drawings. Use of CAD software.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Graphic communication has a central role in manufactured product design and have evolved greatly with the onset of CAD software. The aim of this course is to provide to the student a basic knowlege of technical drawing, and enable him to communicate efficiently with others. Finally, he will be able to draw a 3D representation from a technical drawing and inversely, generate techical drawings of a known 3D object.

Practical exercise on paper and CAD exercise on the Siemens NX suite

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Theory lectures given in lecture rooms (two groups) and online, numerous practical exercices, in part face-to-face, in part online
