Learning unit contents
This seminar allows students to get more familiar with research in linguistics. Recently issued papers, as well as must-read books sections are chosen each year for their methodological value. Every students read the entire selection. Each text is then studied by a small group students who introduce it to the others with a presentation.
Then, each student writes an individual extension of the collective work.
Mandatory reading: R. Martin, Comprendre la linguistique, Paris, PUF, 2002 (2005).

At the end, student will have shown that he understood all the texts of the seminar and that he is able to analyse scientific contributions.
