The course is divided in two parts:
First semester: We will proceed with the study of Manuel d'arabe moderne (vol. II). Elements of Arabic literature. Reading and translation of texts.
Second semester: Spoken Arabic

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 50% of the June final grade

Organizational remarks

Attendance at the lectures and exercises is compulsory. Any student who is absent at more than three classes (lectures and exercises) without any valid and fully justified reason will not be allowed to the take the examination.
