Learning unit contents

The course is devoted to the history of literature sinde Antiquity greek until the eighteenth century.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

You must be able to reproduce, in a written exam, the course content and locate authors nearly half a century.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

He is to attend classes and take note. Students will have the opportunity, the week following each presentation, ask questions about the content of the latter.

Organisational adjustments related to the current health context

Due to the evolution of the health situation, less favorable than hoped, and the legitimate concern expressed by the representatives of the students, we renounce the organization of face-to-face exams in the form of a MCQ . On the scheduled day, January 6, at 9 a.m., students will receive by email, via myulg, a transversal question about the course. They will have to answer it in one page to send to Laurent Demoulin (ldemoulin@uliege.be) at 5 pm at the latest. The precise modalities will be specified the same day. After the last class, teachers will send a message to students to specify which parts of the syllabus should not be studied.

Recommended or required readings

Each student will write his own notes.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
