Learning unit contents
Introduction to narratological discourse and literary terminology. Analysis of prose texts and poetry written by modern Flemish and Dutch authors
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
(1) Acquisition of analytical skills necessary to decode and interpret poems and prose texts and (2) improvement of proficiency in Dutch

Assessment methods and criteria

The oral exam will take place via Collaborate
The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 20% of the June final mark if > or = 10/20 (the mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20). Please note that the final exam for this course is cumulative.
