Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is divided into two main parts:
- systematic grammar revisions (with the syllabus English level 1)
- an introduction to business vocabulary on the other hand (though in-class units).
The students will also have to study basic vocabulary from "Le Bled", on which they will be interrogated at the exams in January and June.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
IN PERSON
The course is taught 3 hours a week in groups distributed according to the alphabet.
Students will be given homework that they will be expected to prepare properly.

The course lasts 2h a week. The 3rd hour is offered to students to ensure they have enough time to prepare what should be done in class during regular class hours.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Here are the potential adaptations related to the current sanitary context.
For the first semester's courses:
- if the courses can be given in class: potential recording and live broadcast of the classes via an online platform (UniCast)
- if the courses are to be given fully online: they'll be given via an online platform (Collaborate, Lifesize, ...)
For January's exam: the exam will take place online (on eCampus), iand will include the following elements:
- grammar questions about all the grammar points revised during the first semester + all the stuff included in the 'Prérequis' syllabus
- vocabulary and content questions about the units seen in class during the first semester
- vocabulary questions about Le Bled (units 1 to 15)
Keep in mind that the weighting of the different assessments in the final mark may be adapted in accordance with the exam's format and the modifications related to the sanitary context.
