Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Getting to A2-B1 level
By the end of the year students will be able to understand separate sentences and common idioms relating to immediate priority needs (personal or family details, shopping, living environment, work etc.) They will be able to communicate for the purpose of ordinary tasks requiring simple and straight information on everyday topics; describe their training and living environment, and evoke everyday and usual topics meeting immediate needs.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
succeeding in the Spanish course - elementary level (HEC Liege) or otherwise obtaining A1+ level of the European ranking, meaning that students are able to:
- understand and use common everyday idioms as well as easy messages about concrete needs;
- introducing themselves or others and asking someone about their place of residence, relationships, belongings etc.);
- answering similar questions;
- communicate at a basic level provided the addressed person speaks slowly and distinctly and is willing to help.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
