Learning unit contents

Teachers : Jean-Louis CROISIER, Ordinary Professor; Didier MAQUET, Lecturer, Christophe DEMOULIN, PT, PhD and Marc VANDERTHOMMEN, Professor.
Students prepare for a final exam at the patient's bedside through carrying out training programmes in various hospital environments, reports made at the patient's bedside, with help from programme leaders and writing up programme reports.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To ensure that the students, at the end of the Masters in Physiotherapy, are able to:

  • put together theoretical and practical knowledge when faced with a pathological case in a real situation (exam carried out at the Liege University Hospital Centre),
  • realize a physiotherapy assessment,
  • demonstrate a clinical rationale for developing a treatment plan,
  • appropriately apply required physiotherapy techniques.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

APP and ARTK prepare the student to this final integrative exam.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Additional information:

During this test, the student will have to show his/her skills for the physiotherapy assessment and management of a specific patient.
