The covid crisis could have an influence on the course of the internship activities in the event of (partial) lockdown. The agility and creativity of the supervisors (mainly the internship supervisor) and students will also determine the concrete impact of the covid constraints on the internship. Realism and pragmatism on the part of those concerned are required. Students are requested to contact the internship coordinator (Mrs. C. SOMMEILLIER) when the course of the internship is obstructed by the covid crisis.
Recommended or required readings
None.
Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Any session :
- In-person
oral exam
- Remote
oral exam
- If evaluation in "hybrid"
preferred in-person
Additional information:
Written report:40%. Oral presentation: 40%. Evaluation by the local advisor/coordinator of the internship: 20%. An average value is calculated by consensus based on the evaluations of the membres of the internship committee, taking into account the different criteria. This value is the start of a discussion between the committee members who will fix the final score taking into account the different elements of the internship and the aforementioned average value. The final score is consequently not a simple average of all elements but a real consensus that will situate the student inside his promotion and which will correct for scores that were too high or too low for certains elements according to the committee members.
Students which obtain 9/20 will have to improve their report for the next examen session. Students which obtain 8/20 or less will have to effectuate a new internship.
Work placement(s)
Yes.
Organizational remarks
All practical aspects of the training (rules and obligations, duration, evaluation, financial aspects, insurance, start of the training, etc.) will be explained in detail during a special session organised by the principal advisor.
