Learning unit contents
This course mainly rests on the grammatical and contextual study and analysis of texts and media materials regarding landscape architecture. Scientifical, journalistic, general or official, all materials used within the scope of this course will address the professional reality and the relevant issues of landscape architecture.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of this course is to give the student all the grammatical and contextual skills needed so that he can approach and understand all kinds of supports, rendering their content and appropriate them to make up his own opinion.
In the scope of this course, the student will have to:
- know and understand the language studied,
- communicate and discuss diverse issues,
- express himself, speaking as well as writing, about different topics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Oral presentation of analytical writing.
Written (40%) and oral (60%).
Virtual exam on TEAMS.
