Learning unit contents

The course examines the role of the natural (birth rate and mortality) and migratory (immigration and emigration) factors since the Ancien Régime until our days and draw the attention on the particularities of every European country. Various phenomena are particularly described such as the demographic transition or the ageing of the population.
