Learning unit contents
The course will help students to study the diplomatic documents produced during the Middle Ages and the Modern Times, to understand the various aspects of their making and, especially, the rules of their scientific edition.

Knowledge of diplomatic documents produced during the Middle Ages and the Modern Times, of their making and of the technics required for their edition.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
A sufficient mastery of paleography, as taught in BAC by J. Maquet, is a significant contribution.

30h : Lecture ; 15h : written work: editing a diplomatic document (if the health situation allows it).
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
In case of a code orange and red health situation, distance learning and examination by videoconference.
