General presentation of the city of Mari (Tell Hariri, Syria) on the middle Euphrates.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

studies of the ancient Near Eastern art and archaeology by analyzing a specific subjec : "the city of Mari (Syria) and its interactions with the southern Mesopotamian and Syrian worlds".

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

To have attended the general lecture during the 1st year of study entitled "History of art and archaeology : ancient Near East".
