Learning unit contents
This is a course shared among several teachers.
For the part given by Professor Pohl, this course aims to lead students to master the different concepts related to organizational culture and change. The aim is to lead them to make a diagnosis of the organizational culture and the conditions conducive to culture change using different analysis grids. This course also aims to help students to develop a comprehension of the mechanisms leading to the acceptance of innovation and change. A section is devoted to leadership.
For the part given by Professor Stinglhamber, this course aims to make students realize the importance of managing the human component when introducing organizational change. It proposes an approach focused on the recipients of change, consisting of understanding (a) the impact of change on the recipient's roles and challenges and (b) the recipient's experience (resistance to change, individual and dynamic models of change, Bareil's Theory of Concern Phases).
