1) Command of the diverse approaches of the landscape 2) Criticize landscape analysis and landscape planning 3) Work in group to apply the skills and knowledges resulting of the geography curriculum
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
-Statistics, spatial analysis, remote sensing, GIS and regional geography literacy - Basic knowledge in botany, in pedology, in geomorphology, in economy, in social sciences and in rural geography -Basic geographical vocabulary -Maps and aerial photograph analysis - Good physical condition (field works) -English
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Exercises and fieldworks allow to implement (mainly on field) diverse landscape analysis methods.
On collective work based on a geosystem aims to lead an analysis from the conceptualization and the design to the application of severals methods and the discussion of results.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Lectures and exercises take place during the second quarter. The most important part of the training will be the collective analysis of a geosystem. Practicals are also organised and require the use of GIS.
