Learning unit contents

This course focuses on two related topics:

  • Transport Planning
  • Transport Modelling
The first part focuses on the principles of transport planning, and discusses in detail a series of travel demand management measures. The second part focuses on the application of different transportation models, which serve as a decision support tool for evaluating and steering transport planning.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The goal is that the student has an insight into the different transport planning principles and is capable to realize some basic calculations with transportation models.
