Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This course aims to introduce health economic modelling. The student will be able, after this course, to build, analyze, and interpret a cost-effectiveness model. In addition, it will be able to discuss the pros, cons and challenges of health care modelling evaluation. An important part of the course is dedicated to the development, analysis and interpretation of an Excel spreadsheet cost-effectiveness model.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Having successfully completed the course Basic principles of Epidemiology, Health Economics and Econometry

An Excel spreadsheet based model will be developed, analysed and interpreted.

Five sessions of 2h00 (0h30 theoretical lesson and 1h30 training session) face-to-face or distance learning
