Learning unit contents

This course is proposed within the programme of the Master in Sport Sciences to student following the coaching orientation. It is designed to analyse the teaching learning process in the sport context (training and competition) in order to identify the teaching strategies. A part of the course is focused on the video's use.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

- To acquire the didactics fundamentals. - To learn to use video.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

A personal sport experience will be an advantage.

Ex-cathedra courses and exercises.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The course will be organized during the whole academic year according a planning determined in agreement with students. The theoretical course lays mainly on seminars and readings.

Recommended or required readings

All documents used by the professor will be available for the students. These will be also invited to use the SIGAPS library.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Students will be assessed on the basis of the quality of their works and on their involvement in all the tasks. An oral examination will be organized in June. It will wonsist in a defense of the written production of the students.
