Schedule
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
Through the activities proposed by the course the student will learn in the context of the different approaches (analytical and holistic) assessment of muscle.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course objective is to discover more fully the main methods that allow an assessment of muscle function and particularly inertial and isokinetic methods.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
-/-
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Students receive from the teacher. Croisier a series of papers on the isokinetic assessment they must study. Students receive from the teacher. Jidovtseff a series of papers on the inertial évaluatiçon they must study. Students are invited to attend and to experiment isokinetic and inertial assessment.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
-/-
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Recommended or required readings
A series of articles presenting the evaluation of muscular function will be offered for reading by the responsible teachers
Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Any session :
- In-person
oral exam
- Remote
oral exam
- If evaluation in "hybrid"
preferred in-person
Additional information:
The rating for oral exam concerning évaluaiton isokinetic (Prof. Croisier) (1/2).
The rating for oral exam on evaluation inertial (Prof. Jidovtseff) (1/2).
Work placement(s)
-/-
Organizational remarks
Students are invited to attend sessions of isokinetic and inertial on athletes (2-3 isokinetic tests, 1-2 tests inertial, 1-2 Optojump assessments. Students receive during a week a Myotest (inertial assessment) and must learn to use it.
