Learning unit contents
Research seminar devoted, during the academic year 2020-2021, to the legal aspects of the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, mainly in Belgium but also, incidentally, in France, and to their analysis in the light of the writings of some legal theorists (notably Carl Schmitt).
A list of preparatory readings will be sent to students during the first quadrimester.

Study of the relations between some important works in the history of philosophy or in artistic disciplines and legal thought.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Students will be assessed on the basis of an oral presentation within the framework of the course, the participation of the student to the discussions and a written piece of work written following this presentation.
