Teaching is ex cathedra, except for practical exercises, during which students are expected to take an active role. A book, published by Larcier, is available (see hereunder).

The course's teaching is based on Institutions judiciaires, 3rd Edition, Larcier, 2019, by G. de Leval and Fr. Georges. Additional documentation will be provided to the students.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Assessment will be by a written exam.
Students are required to demonstrate their knowledge and their understanding of matters exposed in the book and additional documentation, and during the lectures as well.
