Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course in migration law is intended to be both an information and a reflection course. It examines in a general way the way in which the law deals with contemporary migration. The special and main part focuses on refugees. At the end of the course, the student should be able to analyse case law decisions in the light of the theoretical tools given.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
For the year 2020-2021, the course will be given, essentially in the form of a reverse class: student preparation followed by synthesis and debate courses.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
For the year 2020-2021, the course will be given, for the most part, at a distance in the form of an active inverted class: podcasts, a MOOC, student preparation, synthesis and debate classes.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Most of the courses will be given at a distance. There are several supports: videos, a MOOC, a syllabus.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
The examination is written and online. The form of the examination is "open book" and consists of a two-page written work done in two hours, on the date set in the examination session. The content of the examination is a commentary on a case law decision in the field of aliens law.
