- Introduction : dental chemistry
- Dental materials
- Chemical and physico-chemical properties of dental materials.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Understanding of the structure/properties relationships of dental materials and their implication in the choice of a material for a specific use.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic knowledges in general chemistry and organic chemistry.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course, comprising 9 chapters, will be delivered in the form of pre-recorded video capsules available online via the e-campus platform.
Sample MCQ questions will be made available on e-campus.
Face-to-face question-and-answer sessions will be organized on grouped chapters (Session 1: chapter 1 to 4, session 2: chapter 5 to 9).

Organisational adjustments related to the current health context

Questions/answers sessions will be organized on site and remotely via lifesize so that confined students can assist to them.
