Mendel's laws and molecular heredity
The gene regulation in prokaryotes and eukaryotes
The viruses
The conventional methods of molecular biology (cloning, protein expression, gene sequencing, PCR, ...)
The immune system
The embryonic development
The plant growth and the transport of metabolites in plants
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Acquire general knowledge of biology to understand:
- the molecular aspect of genetics, gene regulation, immune system, embryonic development and plant growth
- the general techniques of molecular biology

The course of general Biology for first bachelor in Sciences
