Maps Topographical, geological and pedological maps: Belgium's cadastral profile The main cartographic projections.
Using IT tools Digitisation of cartographic documents Vector mode and image mode Georeferencing and corrections to be made to cartographical documents. Creating a digital model of the land. Creating slope maps. Creating land use maps. Geographic information systems
Maps used in land management. Integration into geographic information systems Assessing the impact of changes to the environment and in particular their relationship to natural risks. Examples: solar energy input, flooding, land slides, risks related to karst.
