Modeling and understanding complex biological systems with supercomputers
Bioinformatics has turned out to be one the most important research tools of life sciences in the 21th century. Both academia and industry are increasingly looking for computer-literate biologists with skills in software programming, data analysis and systems modeling. Indeed editing genomes of living cells can only be done meaningfully if we are first able to understand, model and make new predictions about them. Our unique combination of experts from different Facultiues, for different students profiles (Sciences, Applied Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Agro-Bio Tech)
