Planned learning activities and teaching methods
During the clinical rotation of this teaching unit, various learning activities are organized to permit students to obtain clinical skills listed in the section "Master 2: equine clinic" of the Log book of clinical skills. This list is available on e-campus, course VETE000-4 "Log book of Master". The student has to come to the clinical rotation with a printed version of the list and has to validate (signature by a professor, assistant, intern) each of the skills. When completed he has to present the documents at the secretary of the equine clinic. All the documents have to be clearly identified (name, first name and identification of the student) and stapled together.
Furthermore, during the clinical rotation the student has to fill in and validate the case log of clinical cases (2nd part of the log book of master: file with all the clinical cases followed during the clinical rotations under the supervision of a membre of the faculty). Later the student has to give this document back at the general secretary for students (information will follow).

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session
Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning
Since the beginning of COVID-restrictions, only a very small number of necessary students participate to assure the in-patient care and the management of emergencies and this on voluntary basis.
The distant learning is given via seminars and clinical rounds via videoconference and with clinical cases to resolve or prepare by the student.
Assessment subjects
The learning content and objectives remain the same as before the restrictions.
Assessment methods
The oral exam at the end of the clinical rotation will take place via a videoconference system. The evaluation of the clinical part will be based on the period before the confinement.
