Learning unit contents
Anticipation is a fundamental activity for both private and public decision-makers. Different kinds of anticipation are coexisting in our societies with deep epistemological roots. Prospective as such is a very specific anticipatory approach built in France after the Second World War.
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the methodology and tools of prospective which are based on interdisciplinarity.
Two parts of the course: 1) ex-cathedra ; 2) participative implementation of a prospective approach. The final goal of this second part is to build a "time capsule".

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam: an essay (4 hours).
Three subjects will be offered to students
The written exam will take place for four
hours during which the students will be invited
to address one of the three topics proposed . Evaluation of essays will be based on the following:
1) Logical reasoning - 25%;
2) Mobilizing knowledge - 25% (theoretical references,
links to practical work);
3) Originality of the treatment of the proposed
subject - 25% (links to other courses...);
4) Critical thinking - 25% (ability to distinguish
between judgments of fact and value judgments) .
A the end of the workgoupes, an individual activity report will be asked (25% of the final note).
