Learning unit contents
Urban security is a central concern for citizens and politicians.Today, the larger part of the mondial population live in urban environement. The city is the relevant level for the apprehension of security and safety policies.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Identify the links between cities, insecurity and security policies.Analysis and evaluation of different models or conception of urban security policies management.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Able to access and carry out a documentary search by making the most of the search engines specializing in scientific information; Capable of selecting sources of scientific information; Capable of organizing a drafting work and writing a bibliography.

Assessment methods
The exam covers personal written work of a scientific nature. The student's work consists of summary work analogous to a scientific article. In about fifteen pages, the student will have presented, synthesized and discussed an issue relating to urban security.
The choice of theme, relating to the theme of urban security, is free
