Different topics will be presented
-Description and presentation of the Hallmarks of cancer
-Introduction to genomic instability in tumors
-Epigenetic and cancer
-Tumor micro-environment
-Heterogeneity of tumors, epithelial to mesenchymal transition
-Introduction to pre-clinical models of cancer
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
To introduce the different common characterisitcs of tumor cells and the importancce of the micro-environment.
To obtain enough basic knowledges to fully understand and be critic towards the scientific litterature, the experimental essays and the clinical trials.
