The child development from birth to adulthood and some pathological conditions are discussed in a public health and health promotion perspective (e.g. : learning disorders, systematic neonatal screening, child abuse or neglect, exploratory behavior at adolescence, chronic diseases, eating disorders). The course will provide the basic knowledge regarding child development and frequent pathologies. In addition, we will insist on interpretation of epidemiological and public health data.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Interpret epidemiological or public health data or graphs illustrating the subjects developped during the class.
