Schedule
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
The aim of the lecture is to allow to the student to tackle an apparently simple problem from an experimental point of view. The student (or a group of 2 of them) has to realise an experiment, to make measurements, to interpret them, to interpret them, to critic them, and eventually to communicate the results.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
-to realise an experiment-to make original measurements -to critic the measurements -to elaborate a scientific story: what is the context? what is the aim? what is the method? what are the results? what conclusion may I deduce?
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
statistical physics
general physics
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Subjects are proposed. The student choices his subject (or by 2) The student is allowed to propose a subject. A story is determined together. The student realise the experiment and make measurements. The results are discussed together. A first poster is then realised by the student. This poster is reviewed and criticised. The final poster is sent and quoted.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
in the lab
