(6) Special design requirements for plastic parts
(7) Plastic waste
(8) Industrial selection of (polymeric) materials

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Ability to understand the basic principles of polymer physics and the differentiation of polymeric materials from other materials
Understanding how to measure and assess material properties
Understanding of basic technologies to design properties of polymeric materials (incl. plasturgy)
Ability to apply the learned principles to un-known situations
