Principles of general pharmacology
Pharmacology of general anaesthetics

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

  • Understand the determinants of plasma drug concentration in the context of intravenous bolus and conitnuous iv injection
  • Understand the principle of context sensitive half life
  • Have a basic knowledge of the properties of the most commonly used anaesthetics in intensive care medicine and emergency medicine
