  • Legislative and professional framework

  • Nutritional education
  • Handling  denutrition in a pluriprofessional team

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the learning unit, the student will be able :

  • Define malnutrition
  • Indicate its prevalence
  • Explain its etiology and consequences
  • Screen malnutrition
  • Act in a pluriprofessional team in order to manage malnutrition
  • Argue its professional actions facing malnutrition

Oral : 10 min. presentation and 10 min. questions
Presentation about :

  • Description of nutritional handling in the observed setting
  • Description of a clinical case and of the actual nutritional handling
  • Description of the ideal nutritional handling in the clinical situation (references)
  • Reflexion about the operationalization of that handling in the observed setting
