The theoretical part of the course will put forward the basic principles of methodology (mainly those of "Analyse textuelle" and narratology) which will be brought into play in the practical part of the sessions. This practical part is devoted to the analysis of texts from different genres and langage-states.

The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 25% of the June final grade if > or = 10/20 (the mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20). Please note that the final exam for this course is cumulative.
