Discussion of canonical and/or representative texts, chosen from the history of literairy theory and criticism.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Developing the knowledge acquired in the Théorie littéraire : introduction course. Getting the students acquainted with the varied reality of theoretical texts produced by the discipline. Familiarizing the students with the various theoretical approaches available, with a view to a later operationalization (master courses, master's thesis,...).
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Disposing of a sufficient command of English and French for reading theoretical texts.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Individual presentations and collective discussions of texts from a list drawn up by the lecturer.
