"The Shorter Texts of Janet Frame"
After a brief introduction to the life and work of Janet Frame, a variety of her shorter texts (fictional and non-fictional) will be considered, with a view to showing how her conceptions about creativity leaked through into even the more modest of her marginalia. Thus we shall consider her novellas and short stories, but also her participation in such diverse literary genres as interviews, book reviews, essays, poetry, and letter-writing.
