Learning unit contents

• CEFRL levels of the course :

• introducing oneself, speaking about one's hobbies, preferences, etc.
• cultural differences (in business)
• going to the restaurant
• how to telephone (for business)
• making an appointment
• taking a message
• preparing and giving a presentation
• participating in a meeting
• giving one's point of view
• negociating
• preparing one's cv
• preparing a motivation letter and a job interview

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The course objective is to prepare students to business situations in Flanders and in The Netherlands.
Focus on language and first topics of the course (to introduce oneself, to make business in another culture,...)

A2 level of CEFRL

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

3 hours a week in the first part of the year.
