Learning unit contents
The integrated project biomedical engineering consists of 4 parts
* contact program with biomedical industry in Belgium (organised together with the other masters in biomedical engineering of the fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles: http://biomed-days.ulb.ac.be/)
* soft skills training (presentation, creativity, team work, brainstorming, project organisation etc)
* training on the principles of quality management (regulatory aspects, reimbursement, quality assessment and control)
* project work: the subjects of the projects will be defined by the students after consultation with prospetive clients and based on the clients' needs. Supervision will be taken care of by the course supervisors. Additional supervision by clinical or industrial partners will be sought on a need-to basis.

We will follow the Standford Biodesign method: http://biodesign.stanford.edu/. During the year, Students will be sent appropriate links to videos, tutorials and summaries on the website, specifically related to the phase of their project.
