Learning unit contents

The main objectives of this course are : - Definition of the most important concepts and theories - Presentation of the main socio-economic under-development indicators - Critical description of structural modifications experienced by developing countries (DCs)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Acquiring knowledge regarding the main concepts and relevant mechanisms for analysing DC economies
Being capable of applying the acquired knowledge to the analysis of issues specific to DCs.
Being able of establishing solutions to economic development problems.

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the Aug-Sept 2020 session

The contents for the evaluation are the contents seen during the lectures of the first semester.

Assessment methods

The evaluation will take the form of an online exam that will take place during the exam session. There will be both multiple choice questions and open-ended questions.
We will use the platform Lol@Examens.
